Plot:

Inez is ripping the security guards at Tall Grass Sanitarium new butt holes because they allowed Edgar Szabo enter with a weapon when the reception desk was unoccupied. She goes into an office where Wayne is. He has a computer on his lap. It seems that they still have secrets from one another. Szabo calls Inez on her cell phone and she asks if he has the account information. He says he’ll call back. While Inez puts a trace on her phone, Wayne grills her about her question. She doesn’t tell him who it was but Wayne has an idea.

No gaps or holes in the plot.

Style & Voice:

Told in third person from Inez’s point of view. I didn’t notice any head-hops or changes in pov.

Scene/Setting:

I wonder about the basement and why it was making Inez sneeze. Is she allergic to something down there? I’m sure if it was mold, someone would’ve notified OSHA by now. *Shock*

Characters:

Jerome Ostermann is a security guard for Tall Grass Sanitarium. He’s a minor character and is the one taking the brunt of Inez’s wrath.

Just My Personal Opinion:

It’s interesting that Inez asked Szabo if he had the account numbers, and not about his hostage. Or was it Szabo? Hmmm….And what does Wayne have up his sleeve? What did he mean by she compromised an agent? Curiouser and curiouser.

What have you got against rent-a-cops?

Alex

Grammar:

Very good! Just a couple of additional comments below:

She leaned against one of the racks of equipment in the cluttered basement security office of the Tall Grass Santitarium Sanitarium. Her voice dripped with scorn as she asked, "Just how in fuck did an armed gunman get in this place?"

The images reversed, like a slow-motion Charlie Chaplin movie. Inez snapped, "There. Can you enlarge his his face?"

"Thank God." She kicked off her shoes and pointed to the desk. "Just leave it there. And close the door when you leave." She waited for the man to depart before she sneered, "I hate fuckin' incompetent rent-a-cops." [Rent-a-cops are getting a bad rep in your story! LOL At least, Leo is getting a chance to redeem himself. *Laugh*]
