I heartily endorse this idea--I'd love the opportunity to meet fellow members. So, that's my two cents. *Smile*

Actually this subject has popped up several times over the two years that I've been a member. I think the last officially organized convention was in 2006. My understanding is the overall expense and tremendous amount of time needed to put on such an undertaking has worked against promoting another one.

I seem to recall that a similar suggestion prompting a lot of comments, but my search of the more popular forums failed to reveal that discussion. I think it might have been a forum of a private individual. Anyone else know?
