I think this information is something NOT to make known anywhere else, or people will start deleting their stuff completely when they're mad at us. I doubt anyone else really has this problem.


Making good points is why I keep a separate/extra log of all my sent reviews, so I don't lose the writing, at any rate. Several reviews have morphed into newsletter editorials. Sometimes I don't even send the reviews - I just address the issues in an editorial.

What I've done in the past when someone deletes a review, is reward the next review "double". It probably doesn't count as double, but it's something.

Yeah, as esprit says, sometimes you have to have rewarders standing by before you post a review, so they can jump on it before the reviewee gets a chance to see it. Once I had a requested review get deleted two minutes after posting, and yet, there were two rewarders from the site in general who managed to send rewards before it was gone. That was the only time I was so lucky, though. There's been plenty of times we've each sat refreshing the Public review page every few moments waiting for a review from the other to show up. Waiting to send a review until their envelope is dark is another strategy that helps.

With the new updates and changes, as long as the item hasn't been purged, the {review:#####} link will still allow rewarding. So post the review link here, and we may still be able to get it.
