Noticing Newbies

Hi Holly! Welcome to the site. As I read and review items, I sometimes notice 'spelling errors' within works that I don't correct. I usually but a blurb at the end of my review which says something to the fact that I noticed certain spellings are different and that I am not pointing them out in this review, because you may not be from the states, therefore your spelling may indeed, be correct to you. Sometimes there are certain words that are a dead giveaway that the writer is from your area, perhaps tyre for tire, I see that a lot...just actually came across that in a published romance book I was reading and the author is England.

Positive and negative criticism is how we grow as writers. I do hope you find reviews you receive on the site as helpful, not hurtful
