Noticing Newbies

I would like to say hi to all, and introduce myself. I stumbled unto the site and was suprised to hear that it was a free site to get critiqued and recognized. I am not an avid writer, but I have had some ideas that I wanted to share, and link with members to help me improve and create a style of writing. I enjoy cartoon art and music production. I will be surfing the site for children, sci-fi, fantasy, inspirational, and poetry. My mind is like a spunge; I am ready for constructive critisism, and any education on punctuation and formatting. For my first peice, I decided to post a little inspirational poem called "The Seeker". Please read and I hope you enjoy.
