Noticing Newbies

hi everyone, I'm kinda new here, I've been around for less than a month. I found my ability to write since I were about 11 years old. My words are my passion. I've recently graduated from highschool and I am off to college hoping to finally achieve my greatest dream and have my PHD in english literature. The reason I decided to improve my writing skills is because of a devastating reltionship I had... my words were my runaway. Anyway one of the two careers I have in mind is either teaching english literature at a university or becoming a writer. Anyway, I hope to find people who share my passion in writing.
