Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone!

Wow! WDC looks impressive.

I'm a retired geologist and have written over 15 scientific papers and have now tried dialogue for the first time. I've been a 'Fan" since childhood. Tolkien, Heinlein, Niven. and Spider Robinson are my early influences and I've tried to write a 'classic' sci-fi novel. Near future setting, multiverse and time travel all rolled into one with temporal terrorists on the loose. And of course a little geology thrown in...kinda unusual for Sci-fi.

Any reviews would be appreciated and would be glad to return the favor. It's a draft so I'm more interested in content, tone, plot, pace, char dev...etc. rather than grammar and spelling.
