A quick note before getting to my entry...I just got done perusing the recent posts, and, in the spirit of trying not to be redundant, all I will add is, I can relate to what you went through, and it ain't fun. I'm glad things are looking good now...

I might as well let you know that it's a wee bit over on words (by about 385), and I probably could have successfully chopped it, but my experience with trimming that much sometimes results in a disappointing read, and I had a lot of fun with the prompts, so I have no problem not qualifying for anything. I'll keep working on that 666 word count, and I'll actually hit it one of these days. The bottom line: you inspired me to write a horror story, which I hadn't done for a while, so, as they say, "It's all good!"
