I remember a time when I thought that I could never do with a keyboard what I did with paper and pen. Now I have learned to think with my fingers. When I do that, I am "in the zone" . . . but recently I picked up something that I had written a long time ago with paper and pen . . . my heart was immediately stirred within me . . . simply at the sight of my handwriting on the page . . . and I realized that there is something about pen and paper that is lost when I choose to "write" with a keyboard.
I will still use the keyboard . . . and I am glad to have learned to think with my fingers . . . but I want to take some time to write with pen and paper each day . . . there is value in both, eh?
