Nope, I believe free memberships are allowed 10 items. As a free member, you should be allowed to add a "Static Item" to your portfolio. Click (or hover over) "Things to Do & Read" (on the left hand side of the page) then click "Create Something!". You'll want to choose to create a "Static Item" for poetry/short stories/etc. Let me know if you need further help. You can always send me an email if you'd prefer. (Just click on the little mail icon next to my name).
