Noticing Newbies

I'm Vince and I'm brand new, diving in at 73 and still counting. I'm a retired casino locksmith with an Army Intelligence background in my younger years in West Berlin, Germany both pre wall and after. I think that I've pretty well thrown away everything I've ever written over the years, but I run into an old ms now and again. Now I mostly write letters to the editor which are generally printed in the local newspaper, but I do have an apprx. 10,000 word ms of reflections of my childhood in upstate New York in the 40s which I work on now-and-again.
I do hope to finish this project in the near future but I have a long ways to go.
