Noticing Newbies

Hello there. My name is Kristal, and I am a writer wanna-be. I have been wrting since I was a teenager. I have been making up stories since I was in the womb, I think. LOL I want to be a published author. I write essays, short stories, a couple of children's books, and have several novels started that I never seem to finish. I have had some articles published in the local newspaper and online on certain online magazines. I have sent some thngs out for submission, but nothing really has materialized of it professionally. I start focusing my energy on it, then get busy or discouraged, and give up for awhile. I'm 41, have 3 kids, and live in Eastern NC. I don't want to be rich--I just want to make enough to support my family with my writing. That's my dream. Anyway, when I get my courage up, I'll post some of my writing.
