I like this idea, but I think with so many contests, both large and small, the calendar would be huge and very cluttered. Perhaps if you could add the deadlines you{/i] want to remember to a calendar? That might be more manageable.
In the meantime, until or if WDC adds a feature like this, you might want to consider setting up a Google Calendar for all of your deadlines. You can even have Google email you reminds of the upcoming deadlines.
