In dedication to The Story Master and The Story Mistress
by A Non-Existent User
Here at writing.com—
I can hear
the intensity raging...
undulating—
spilling out in squeals
of emotion, how touching
the found inspirations,
ornamenting tears
splashing wildly onto
the writer's page—
words propelled
by one-thousand hearts
a-beating.
Do you hear them, too?
the words, the beating...sensing the
rhythmic
community unified, standing
as Atlas—
balancing...
preventing...
the fall of any
member, giving a place
for all, allowing
space for each, who search for
peace
and grace in their own way...
through their own words
and by wandering into ports
to seek what they find.
...all this
is the sum of this place...
I know it well—
me, yes...this lowly poet
found weeping...
and sharing in the pride
of membership, of family
with you.
Thank you for the years and the tears!
Take care,
I remain, a Poetess in Progress
