by A Non-Existent User

         * This might be over doing this challenge, but...........I'm going to include my top 5 childhood, teen and adult favorites!

*ThumbsUp* My Top 5 Favorite Books & Authors During My Early Childhood Years:

1. I was probably around the age of 4. My Mother wrote in it sometime in 1982 and on the inside of the back of its cover, she wrote that she loves me! What a true childhood treasure! - A story especially for you...the Birds and the Bees and the Elephant By the Company called: Hallmark Thoughtfulness Library - Author: Bob Dole & Illustrated By: Jack Kent

2. I was probably around the age of 5 or 6. My Mother read this book to me at least a million times! She really loved reading it too! - Serendipity - Author: Stephen Cosgrove & Illustrated By: Robin James

3. I was probably around the age of 5 or 6. My Mother read this to me many times too. Those were great books for that particular age range and the illustrations were wonderful too for a child to see! - Wheedle on the Needle - Author: Stephen Cosgrove & Illustrated By: Robin James

4. I was probably around the age of 8. My sibling and I use to be read that book a lot. We really loved it! It was so sweet and the illustrations were so comforting and were beautifully created! - Goodnight Moon - Author: Margaret Wise Brown & Illustrated By: Clement Hurd

5. I was probably around the age of 9. This is another special book I hold close to my *SuitHeart* because it was one of two farewell gifts from my sibling's best friend that the entire family and I all dearly loved. We've been unable to find or contact him again and is really sad, but at least I still have one of his books to treasure that wonderful memory of him forever. I'll continue to keep this book until one day I'll surprise and will read over it with my sibling, to see if he remembers his best friend from so long ago. - Masquerade - Author: Kit Williams & Illustrated By: Kit Williams!

*ThumbsUp* My Top 5 Favorite Books & Authors During My Teen Years:

1. What's great is, is that I wrote my age, date and time I finished reading this particular book on the inside of its cover! *Laugh* I wrote, "1st book I read when I was 13 in a half." I looked on the inside of its back cover and I wrote, "On 10/16/1989 I finished reading this book at Grandma's and Grandpa's house at 10:00 P.M. Age 13 in a half!" - A Swiftly Tilting Planet - Author: Madeleine L'Engle

2. Here's another book I wrote inside of the cover in. I wrote, "3rd book I read 13 in a half." I also looked on the inside of the back of its cover, and I wrote, "I started reading this at Grandma and Grandpa's house 8:30 P.M. 11/17/1989 I finished reading it at 9:00 P.M. 12/18/1989! What a treasure I have there and to remember! - E.T. The Book Of The Green Planet - Author: William Kotzwinkle & Illustrated By: David Wiesner.

3. And yet, another book I wrote inside the front cover of! I wrote, "4th book I've (read) when I was age forteen." I spelled, fourteen wrong! *Laugh* On the very next page opposite of that one, I wrote that my best friend gave me this book as a birthday present on 1/10/1990. In the back of the inside of its cover I wrote, "I started reading this at 7:35 A.M. 1/12/1990 I finished reading this at 9:32 A.M. 3/3/1990 In my bedroom on Saturday. Age forteen. - Windmaster's Bane - Author: Tom Deitz

4. I believe I was 16, whenever I got this book as a Christmas gift! It can in really handy for my high school and early college years whenever I had to give a speech about a subject I knew a lot about! I also loved how the photographs in it are vivid and clear too! - Eyewitness Books Fossil - Author: Paul D. Taylor, Ph.D. & Photographs Taken By: Colin Keates.

5. I was probably around 17 or 18 and got this particular book for a Christmas gift too. Reader's Digest Exploring The Secrets Of Nature - Author: Many! But, this was the one who was listed first: Tim Birkhead, BSc, DPHIL, DSc - Art Editor: Neal Martin, First Listed Artist: Richard Bonson.

4. This small, square-shaped book with stones on its front cover caught my eye! I saw this at a book store and was most likely in my late twenties to early 30's. After I opened it up, I knew that I'd love this book from this particular author as well as photographer! To this very day and age, I still collect all of her books! - beach stones - Author: Margaret W. Carruthers & Photography By: Josie Iselin.
