You're right about it being ingrained to see Simon, Paula, Randy-dawg together.
Last year when it was Kara and Ellen I couldn't get used to it, either! Ellen kept talking about things like soup (your performance was like soup, or something, she once said) and I would go 'huh?'
Hope that Steven and Jennifer do bring their own personalities and make it interesting!

Plus now in India, American Idol is no longer at prime time. It used to be at 9 PM, now it's at midnight with a repeat show at 11 AM. Both those times are not ideal TV-viewing times! Doesn't look like I'll be following this season much ...
