I was interested in this because I went to see Waiting For Superman, the documentary about the failure of the U.S. public school systems and the corruption in the teachers unions bringing them down.
This is the same filmmaker (Guggenheim) who was lauded for the politically correct documentary - An Inconvenient Truth (Starring Al Gore) but he didn't get a nomination for Waiting for Superman even though it was very successful and well received. I think Hollywood is kind of afraid of the teacher's unions so it is all political there.
