My mother used to be a huge mystery fan, but after she had a massive stroke she claimed that they didn't have the same appeal to her. What once held her intrigue was boring and uninteresting. Now she reads a lot of biographies and what not. I guess it just goes to show how people change, and how different genres attract different audiences!
