The 90-Day Novel Group Home

As writing books go it is fairly inexpensive at just under $15 on Amazon.com. There is a brief introduction where the writer talks about his first novel which apparently was an overnight success and goes from there to briefly discuss his thoughts and theories about the novel writing process.

Now what I really like about this book is that there are daily writing assignments for each of the 90 days and the assignments actually made sense to me.

I have precious little free time and I found that i could actually sit down and do 2-3 days assignments at a time in just a few hours, at least in the early part of the book and before I new it I had nearly 30 days of notes.

He actually takes about 29 days in the pre-writing phase and really guides you through plotting and character development. So to my mind, this one is worth it and will be a good guide for us.
