Suggestion Box

Look at a book, the paragraphs are indented.
Look at my writing (you can't, it won't indent) - it is indented.
Why won't indents work? Tab key, not recognised. Spaces at start, not recognised. Just a minor change - the work HAS to look professional. Am I missing something - apart from some little grey cells?
Idents work in the posting box, but do they appear in the actual posting?
