What I'm Currently Reading
Books I'm currently reading or have recently finished reading:

Monster by Frank Peretti

This book is written by Christian author, Frank Peretti, who is best know for his national best sellers, This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness. While most of his books are about angels and demons, Monster is about a sasquatch-type creature who kidnaps a hiker. I normally don't read this type of book, but it's been easy to read so far and has kept my attention so far. I'm a little over half way through.

Flight by Sherman Alexie

Finished this short novel a short while ago. It's written by Native American author and poet, Sherman Alexie. This novel was a bit strange--sort of like a time travel piece, but overall, I enjoyed it. I'm a big Sherman Alexie fan, so I can only say good things about him. He has also written Indian Killer and Reservation Blues, which are two other novels that I enjoyed.

Light In August, The Sound and the Fury, As I Lay Dying, Go Down, Moses, Absalom, Absalom! by William Faulkner

I just finished these books for a graduate course that I took on Faulkner. I liked all but Absalom, Absalom! I'm sure if I read it multiple times I would be able to appreciate it, but it was extremely tedious the first time through. As I Lay Dying was my favorite (the the shortest, coincidentally).
