It is helpful, Cathie. Thank you. I had never heard of processing lag, and I could how just realizing that it exists could help any future autistic students in my classes. I'm sorry your son's early years were so difficult, but I hope that the teacher and principal behind those years are long out of his life. Adults in the schools should never publicly say things about issues with specific students, particularly students that young. That was unprofessional and thoughtless of those people.
