I remember that old saying "paralysis by analysis," and recall one time writing a business letter and showed to three people and asked for your comments. Yep, I got three very different views, all contradicting each other.

I don't even know how to write. Should you develop a plot first, then characters separately before you even start writing, or work things out as you go?
