Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone! I've been here for a couple of weeks now, getting my feet wet. I'm really loving this place - everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

I'm never sure how to introduce myself, and it's taken me this long to get over being intimidated and just post something on the "newbie" board.

I write a darker shade of sci-fi/fantasy/thriller and read, well, pretty much everything. I came to WDC trying to improve my writing and stumbled upon a whole community of like-minded creatives.

Even my husband's noticed the positive impact that WDC is having on me; he's always asking if I've written anything new and I got him to make an account, but I think it'll take him a little time to get around to posting his own (amazing) writing.

I look forward to getting to know some of you while I explore this awesome community. Cheers!
