WdC public domain for pictures

How about a Writing.Com version of the public domain, with pictures which aren't copyright which any user can take advantage of? Members or even non-members of WdC could submit pictures they have created or photos they have taken.

Anyone else think the same, or am I going crazy? *Bigsmile*

I don't know about other writers – it could just be me – but I really enjoying reading or creating an item with an illustration. It adds to the flavour and colour of the piece. A public domain would mean anyone can use the pictures.
