That's understandable about some confusion. I was unable to write any real chapters due to how late it was.

Here's some more explanation about the amulet:

I'll use what you wrote to help me. Say the teen find the amulet, and sees the guys on the football field. The teen wishes to take a small amount of muscle from each guy there, the Amulet would do so easily. In fact, he could sap every ounce of muscle from all of those guys if he wanted to.

However though, if he wanted to take muscle from...say a major city, with millions of people, then the maximum amount that could be taken from each person would be a lot less, because the Amulet has to spread it's power over a considerably larger area, thus it cannot take as much from each person.

Going back to this teen again, he could take the 1 pound of muscle from each guy, or he could even take 50 pounds or more just as easily if he so chose.

If you all want, I can get a storyline started, so that the Amulet can be a little more understood.
