Hi Gervic. I suppose you know that with an Upgraded membership, one can create his or her own bank using the Group Item, and thereby save any potential user fees that would inenvitably be needed to orchestrate such a bank. I suspect that running such a banking enterprise could be an administrative nightmare if a large number of folks wished anytime access to deposit and withdraw GP funds. Add to that any procedures that would need to be in place to cover disputes, and such.

I actually flirted with making the same suggestion, but couldn't get past the potential administrative needs, and the fact that there's no way to earn interest on one's account, which is one key aspect of banks beyond the security of one's assets.

Still, maybe someone else has an idea to overcome such concerns.
