Praying Hands in an Upper Room Forum

This is a small request and not too important but I need help. My niece had a birthday not long ago and I sent her a pretty pendant that was not expensive, was one of mine; and I wanted her to have it. Because, like many, my husband and I have to be careful with our money, I couldn't buy her an expensive item but I wanted to send something. I also sent her a Biblical card with a nices saying and a Christian card.

She has not replied in any way and she didn't send a card to my husband, whose burthday was two days ago. In the past, my husband and I have sent her expensive things and she always said "thank you."

My husband has said to forget it because apparently, she only appreciates expensive things. I know this is true but I am so disappointed!

Will you pray for me and for my niece? Your prayers will help so much..
