October Novel Prep Challenge

My target audience is the 18-30 age range, particularly those either actively pursuing or already possessing a higher education. The appeal for them will be that the story provides the sort of fantastic escape from reality younger adults (especially students) desire; the prose is also very elaborate, and the story draws on several historical, theological, and psychological sources and concepts that appeal to more educated individuals. It also contains a heavy military influence with an inherent realism (per my own experiences) that will draw in military readers, many of which are within the targeted age range.
