October Novel Prep Challenge

Thanks, folks. A more gradual approach may be needed then. If the Apes thing stuck out so badly for me, I can only imagine what an audience would think. No point getting two thirds of the way through the book if two thirds of the readership hurls their copy into a corner at the same point.

I'll play around with the flashback idea and see if it can be done. Thanks again.
