My daughter gave me these great word dice. They are designed for creating poetry, but I use them for spawning ideas. I think there are sixty dice (I never actually counted them), but anyway, I take some, give them a throw, and see if any of the words or combinations strike a chord. It is fun, and a great way to . . .(goes to add that to her procrastination list). Anyway, I have found titles this way.
Most often though a title presents itself as I continue to journey through the writing. I find I often choose one word titles. Words that are intriguing, have some emotional resonance and interesting connotation vs denotation vibes. Although they may seem cryptic at first, the meaning becomes clearer (I hope, if I wrote the story correctly.)
