Not four cameras: maybe two with different lenses.
Outdoor and indoor photography uses different SET UPs, like different lighting.
Probably in 2004 still might use a film camera and a digital.
Probably one of the big names like Canon or Nikon.
Both Canon and Nikon have great web sites and forums where you could ask the pros what they used back in the 'day' of 2004. They will be more than happy to answer your questions in detail. Probably Nikon, but check. Canon more for action/pro sports.
You will need to be exact with photography, because the photography buffs will know if you don't know your equipment. It is like paint/canvas to an artist.
Just remember, with photography, it is all a matter of capturing light.

Video I don't know. They had dedicated video cameras in 2004, not combined still and digital as much.
