October Novel Prep Challenge

So for Assignment 22, and the optional time line, um, what is that? Is that just a line of dates or days since the story began when certain events occur? So if I already broke up my outline into sections or elements, I would just need to associate when each thing happened, or at least began? Or maybe I am just too tired to think about this. I haven't done a timeline before. Oh, I guess that is obvious now.
