A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
That is an awesome response, Dawn Embers ![]() I know at least one of you who feel the same way as dblameck (David) ![]() If you'd like to know what I've done with all my other days, I've been spending all of September and October getting my world building in line for those two projects, because the one I thought I could write still isn't done, and the one that I am going to write turned into a trilogy - and as if tomorrow I hope to have the entire trilogy prepped. I ran into a few more characters and settings and outlines are always plaguing me, but I think I actually have them all now. As far as writing every day, I have a history with that kind of thing. While this prep does prepare most people to write every day by giving daily assignments, I joined 750words.com a year ago last May. Since then, I have missed a total of 13 days. Despite moving twice and having a baby in that year and a half. Last year's NaNo totaled almost 69k and coincided with one of my moves. Yet I still kept up my streak, as I will do through November and beyond. It really killed me last July when I missed a day and I broke my 384 day writing streak. The last two months of building worlds has been very awesome, but I am impatiently waiting until Thursday to begin this novel as I tweak and fiddle with this outline and profile more characters to make certain I am ready. This is what I do when I finish updating the log every afternoon when my two children are sleeping, and it is what I do when they go to bed every night. I have been part of this prep (thank you Brandiwynš¶ ![]() Best. Storm Machine ![]() ![]() ![]() |
