October Novel Prep Challenge

Here's how I propose to resolve this. I am binding myself to this commitment by making it in front of everybody.

An extension was offered to anyone affected by Hurricane Sandy to submit the last assignment, if they had already completed all the others; I was refused the same deal following an emergency which involved an ambulance taking me to hospital with a life-threatening condition. Any fair-minded person would call this inconsistent IMHO.

If I am awarded the badge and points I have earned, I will donate ALL my winning points to the kind group that gifted me - accidentally, as it turned out - one month's Upgraded membership of this site, just so that I could participate in this Prep in the first place.

It's like a kind of scholarship where the sponsored student completes the course in good faith. The sponsor, not just the student, is entitled to a fair result.
