Wurst Gift

A nice one, I thought
while I opened the package
What came over her?

She’s usually crass
She hated me ever since
the tail on her ass

that I’d pinned in class.
Yet this, a designer’s box?
At last, the spirit

Christmas inspired,
old bitternesses long gone.
I thrashed the paper

And wow! Voila!
A tee-shirt with the picture
of an icky turd.
