Hey Blog Harborers!

I wanted to send a quick note to let everyone with a blog docked at "Blog Harbor"  know that we're going to be doing a little harbor-cleaning in order to prepare for some exciting blogging challenges for the 2013 calendar year.

I'll be un-docking those blogs which haven't been updated for a while, but I didn't want to just remove the blogs without fair warning. So here's your official heads up... if your blog hasn't been updated in the past three months (i.e. since October 31, 2012), your blog will be removed from Blog Harbor. Our intention is that Blog Harbor provide a sense of community for active bloggers, and we really want to focus on highlighting and rewarding those blogs which are at least semi-regularly updated... and some of the blogs docked at Blog Harbor haven't been updated for a year or more!

We're not in a rush to kick people out, and we sincerely hope that everyone will want to stay involved. So that's why we're posting this message in the forum and also sending out an email to those that are at risk for being un-docked, with ample time to respond. All you have to do to show us that you'd like to remain docked at Blog Harbor is to update your blog before the end of the month.

That's right, all you need to do is post a blog entry... any blog entry... by 11:59pm WdC time on Thursday, January 31st.

Just to clarify, if you have updated your blog in the past three months, you're safe. If you have not updated your blog in that time, you will be removed unless you post a new entry in your docked blog by the end of this month. And should your blog be removed, you're certainly welcome to sign up again once you renew your blogging efforts.
