Hi Chris,

I know this post is old, but I wanted to reply and say I like the idea of an unofficial novels newsletter. I agree with what you said about getting help and suggestions for writing a novel ~ most of us seem to join Writing.Com with that intention.

The "P.E.N.C.I.L."  newsletter, "Invalid Item" , is aiming in this direction. As a novel reviewing group, we want to give more than just reviews to the novel community here on Writing.Com. Recently we have been discussing this and steering in this direction. We are planning to include articles relevant to novelists that will help them write their novels with confidence, passion and pride.
