Okay, so I will offer my best advice. I may not be published but I am an old hat at Nano. Stop looking over your outline. There is nothing wrong with it you can't fix while writing.

The person who said It's better to write for oneself and have no readers than have readers and hate what you write, is absoultely correct. Critics don't matter--published unpublished--It doesn't matter.

Working with my kids using the young writers program, they have them draw a picture of their inner editor then hide it somewhere they can't see it or hear it until the end of Nano. We adults need to do that too. I picture myself throwing rotten food at mine every time it pokes its head up and starts saying it's not good enough. It has no place in Nano and it knows it. Only my muse is allowed.

Find your muse, hang on to it and don't let anything get in the way. When December first comes around pick it apart all you want but until November is over, your only job is to put your butt in chair and do what your muse says.
