Welcome to WDC.com. I'm pleased to meet you. So glad to have you join us. This is a wonderful haven for writers in all genres and I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself. I'm a formalist poet and have made some good friends here since I joined the site four years ago. The overview for the site is extremely helpful and can be found here: "Writing.Com 101" Open in new Window.. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. The members and staff are friendly and helpful. There are so many types of historical writings, short stories, novels and poetry. This is the place to hone your skills. There are groups that orient Newbies in navigating the site. Some also conduct courses and/or workshops in different styles of writing, if you're interested. Have fun and have a good night.
