How to read a book you do not like

Hello my dear friends at writing.com;

Last week I told you that I ordered a book that I thought is the best book ever. When I did received it and opened the first page, it was very disappointing. I put the book away for while and read something else. One day I picked up the receipt ( book's ) that I have saved and said to myself. I need to read this book because I have paid $30. for this one. After all money does not grow on the tree.
