Hi Myranda. Welcome to WDC.com. I'm pleased to meet you. I love to read too! Some of my favorite writers are J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Laurell K. Hamilton and Stephen King (to name a few). This is a wonderful haven for writers in all genres. I'm a formalist poet and have been a member for four years. Since then I've made some good friends. I'm sure you will too. The overview for the site is extremely helpful and can be found here: "Writing.Com 101" . If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. The members and staff are friendly and helpful. There are several groups that orient Newbies in navigating the site. Some of them conduct courses and/or workshops in different styles of writing if you're interested. I look forward to sharing writings with you. Have fun as you get familiar with the site and have a great day.
