Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone. I relatively new here. Most of what I enjoy writing is for an 18+ audience -- erotic, romantic lesbian fiction, which I hope is actually accessible to male, female, straight, bi, and gay readers. Right now, I'm in the process of posting a short story in weekly installments. The setting of the story is a real place, but I've deliberately avoided mentioning the name, and I've changed the real names of the places within the setting.

With that in mind, there are plenty of clues as the actual location. I'd like to challenge readers to figure out the setting with the clues provided. There's no prize attached beyond a hearty kudos, but I will be duly impressed if anyone can figure it out.

Remember, it's R rated right now, and the theme is definitely for an adult audience.
