Below, witness your contest forum hostess (moi) adapt town crier mode, shouting out for submissions.

Writing pep talks ensue .. spiritual side intact while hoping to find: a gleaming list of entries pile up beneath the tree. Don't be shy. Lift thy shepherd crook. Zing into the essence of Christmas. You are not required to trounce The Greatest Story Ever Told.

CHRISTMAS GENRE stories tend to stay with us because they are often designed to touch the heart & spirit of this holy day. Yet, sure we may see historical settings or add modern day themes. Imaginations vary. Creations (past or present) become writers' gifts to their reading public. Authorship inspiration often abides in seasonal parodoy. Comedy glides into foray from winter-tale skies.

Thus, over the years, it came to pass ---- Ala this reading/writing website, along comes both a DEC writing contest with an archive to boot. *Star* *Star*

This is basically a short story contest, always accepting poetry, each & every season.

So, Miss TEFFs at it again, singing to the choir, preachy on theme which delves into Holiday Traditional fanfare, haps, music, classic tales, ETC. From the season to be jolly, topics galore tickle minds in a
you-name-it fashion ala this celebration's kittenkaboodle. Then .... wh wh whoooshh ... writers might pause to create yet another gem because they can. Stories pull us, you know.

RE SETTING: When geographically Christamassy, wintry setting truly jingle these stories, submitting writers are apt to make an impression on readers.
