I looked into fixing this and it's slightly convoluted because you have to get bounced back to the email list each time anyway -- if you mark something unread and then you get bounced back to the message, it's not unread again. *Smile*

Given the oddities and the general list of things todo, this is on the list, but really lower priority than many other things. *Wink*
