Noticing Newbies

My friend's been raving about this site so I thought I'd check it out. It has already got me writing, so rave justified I guess.

I'm Fran. I'm a writer. Most of my writing ultimately comes down to mental health/illness themes cos I seem to have collected more mental disorders than you can shake a stick at. I don't stick to a single genre, though my personal favourite to read is YA Fantasy.

I live at the front of the world, New Zealand. I struggle with working out time differences and keeping up with time zones, so I tend to assume I'm in everyone else's tomorrow.

Any hints or pointers about the site would be appreciated. I've managed to post something to my portfolio, but I need to work out the reviewing thing.
