Welcome to Writing.Com, Ruan Quinn . There's definitely a place for you here. I know you've just arrived, but take a moment to fill out your Biography tab (that's the third tab on your Portfolio page) and tell us some of your interest. That's the best way to start networking with other members. The BioBlock (on your main Port page) is essentially a billboard for you to tell us what you're about.  Check out the Get Started link in the header for information on how to fill these areas out. This section will also tell you how to upload your first item. Then you'll be on your way. Don't hesitate to ask for help. Even seasoned members get stuck once in a while. I think the The StoryMaster  and The StoryMistress  --they are our over-worked, but always forward thinking planners and creators of things WDC--keeps coming up with new features to keep everyone on their toes.
