While it may be useful to see a link in the main navigation for help with linking, not everything can show in that one space. If it could, the navigation would two or three times as long. A solution to this would be to use the search box below the initial navigation menu. I did a search for the term "link" and it came up with the results I was looking for that reside in the 101 documentation.
