Re: Image size again
*Wink* Photo Albums on Writing.Com already allow images up to 1024 x 1024 (500k)... Blogs and perhaps Static Items (?) allow use of an {fs-photo} tag that allows a photo be shown as big as the browser will let it.

The Image Item 400x400 restriction is still more of a sanity thing. I honestly don't think the majority of folks are hip to having images that big constantly shown over and over in their forums, reviews and emails. To be blunt on that: it gets really annoying scrolling over huge sigs. At 800px, instead of 3 stacked being 1,200 tall, it'd be 2,400 pixels in height. That makes my scrolling finger hurt. *Wink*

Since 10 years ago, the average screen height hasn't increased that much and is still around 1000 pixels. That'd 2,400px would be over 2.5 pages of scrolling to get passed 'em. http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_display.asp
