Here we discuss a few things that will be about Heroes and Villains. |
The protaganist is the main character. What makes a hero is someone who is willing to save the day without breaking the regular laws. However, back in Gilgamesh's day a hero was someone who was willing do things for his people and his nation in the name of good for his people. This including killing monsters, people and even pillaging another kingdom to get money for yours to survive. This kind of hero is now today's 'anti-hero' a person who does heroic things while having villianous streaks but with good intentions. Some say the road to hell is paved on good intentions. Personally, I'm a Pagan, which means I don't have a 'Hell' or a 'Heaven'. I have an underworld where the good and the bad will be judged, then will be awarded or punished. The story could be about a villain like Death Note. That's the thing about hero and protaganist, they are different things. But, because so many heroes have been put in the role of Protaganist they are associated with them. You have to remember that just because you are the protagonist doesn't necessarily mean you are a hero. |
